ALGORITHMIC IMAGINARIES: DIGITALIZATION AND ITS FUTURE SCENARIOS

Lecture performance and panel discussion

This event confronts the promises and problems, the expectations and fears, concerning digitalizatioand its future. The U.S.-American artist Zach Blas will present his new media-technological project called Icosahedron, followed by the panel discussion with media theorist Nele Heise, sociologist of culture Robert Seyfert, and philosopher Tilo Wesche.

The Research Center of the Genealogy of Today (WiZeGG) of the University of Oldenburg co-convenes the following two events, together with the Edith-Russ-Haus.
