Again this year, the scholarship holders of the Lower Saxony Foundation's Media Art Scholarship at the Edith Russ House present their projects. Kerstin Ergenzinger, Antoine Schmitt and Christoph Wachter / Mathias Jud were selected by the international jury to realize their proposals for new artworks in 2012 and are currently working on the projects. On this evening they will give insights into their plans, the state of affairs, talk about experiments, artistic points of view and difficulties and in this way let the Oldenburg audience participate in the creation of internationally significant media art.

For the first time, the fellows of the house will be welcomed on this evening by Dr. Claudia Giannetti, the new artistic director of the Edith Russ House, who will take up her work on October 1, 2012. Joachim Werren, Secretary General of the Foundation of Lower Saxony, will be present to introduce the partnership between the Foundation of Lower Saxony and the Edith Russ House, now in its twelfth year, which in the past has enabled the implementation of 29 diverse, unusual art projects, some of which have won international awards.
