Presentation of the works of the workshop with Werner Nekes.

From November 1 to 10, 2000, the first workshop took place under the direction of experimental filmmaker Werner Nekes and in cooperation with the Carl von Ossietzky University. The topic, which revolved around the history of the "shadow," met with a great response. The concepts presented in a preliminary event in the fall of 2000 were realized for a presentation at the Edith Russ House for Media Art. The participants show works from the fields of video art, slide and shadow projection, short film and computer art.
