Opera on the Street Corner, Edit Molnár & Zorka Wollny
Opera on the Street Corner centers on Zorka Wollny's Impossible Opera, a newly commissioned work resulting from a long-term collaboration between Wollny, the Edith-Russ‐Haus for Media Art, and local choirs and individuals. This one hour long musicalperformance draws inspiration from protests and demonstrations, and from conflicts between order and anarchy, dissent and consent. Edit Molnár, director of the Edith-Russ‐Haus, will discuss the work with Wollny after a screening of the performance. This will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Zorka Wollny was a winner of the Grant for Media Art of the Foundation of Lower Saxony at the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art 2016.
