Lange Nacht der Musik (Long Night of Music) 2019
DIE kleine LANGE NACHT DER MUSIK
on 15 June 2019, starting at 7 pm, in the Peterstraße in Oldenburg
The Edith-Russ-Haus is again part of the central project of the klangpol network this year. The following events will take place as part of the LANGE NACHT DER MUSIK:
Thomas Bisitz:Interaction 2019
Seminarroom, 7pm to midnight
Interactive audiovisual installation
Sonic Ponyhof
On the meadow in front of the Edith-Russ-Haus, 7pm to midnight
A performative art & sound environment, presented by a delegation of artists from the Frank Mohr Institute (situated in Oldenburg’s Dutch cousin / “twin city”: Groningen).
Students, alumni and teachers of the Frank Mohr Institute (NL) join forces to create a performative media environment of art in the making that stubbornly insist that life indeed *is* a 'Ponyhof'. Using whatever means necessary in making this claim, the participants do not hesitate to show raw experiments, outbursts of sonic ideas and confusing combinations of things like high voltage, Krampus-inspired Masks, a travel agency and - indeed - a pony. As well as other things that the delegation has prepared during their one week occupation of the garden of the Edith Russ Haus.
