Artistic presentation: _asleep between guidelines_public sleep over
On the 7th of December at 7pm an artistic presentation of Anke Fischer and students of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg.
Students of the Performative Artistic Media Practice at the Institute of Art and Visual Culture invite you to a collective half-sleep. The group works with lists of all their sleeping places and speaks a canon as published overnight performance. The group chants names and times in a choir.
They invite interested people, to confide to the rotating quotations of travel notes, logbooks, diaries and memories, to doze or to participate actively.
The event is a part of the accompanying program of the new exhibition Kabbo ka Muwala - [The Girl´s Basket] - Migration and Mobility in Contemporary Art in South and East Africa in the Städtische Galerie Bremen.The Exhibition still lasts until the 11th of December 2016.
