Inaccesible Rivers – talk and screening by Liu Chi-Tung

The young Taiwanese artist Liu Chi-Tung focuses in her work on the problem of rivers which have been covered by concrete and forgotten. During her talk, Liu will introduce the recent history of Taiwanese rivers and present her performative art project Dwelling in the Invisibility, which addresses the inaccessible river flowing through Tainan in southern Taiwan.

Liu Chi-Tung is currently a resident artist at Lokatorne – Place for Antidisciplinary Activities, a space run by Karolina Breguła and Weronika Fibich in Szczecin. The talk at the House for Media Art is organized in partnership with Fotoaura Institute of Photography in Tainan, Taiwan.
