Theater performance on the subject of the colonial past

Colonialism is over. But it still has an impact today in the countries that were once colonized and oppressed. On the occasion of the exhibition When Water Embraces Empty Space, students from the BZTG Oldenburg explored Germany's colonial past. Together with their teachers Maren Steinkamp and Margit Ostern as well as with Gina Schumm (manager of civic education at Jugendkulturarbeit e.V.) they have visited the "Luf-Boot" at Humboldt Forum Berlin and approached the topic performatively. Based on their experiences and research, they developed a short theater performance.
Admission is free of charge.
