Stipend Night

Johan Grimonprez (Brussels), Dagmar Keller/Martin Wittwer (Cologne) and Florian Zeyfang (Berlin) will each present their current project at the Edith Russ Site for Media Art on June 12. Each will have thirty minutes for a multimedia presentation of the projects they will work on during their stipend from the Edith Russ Site for Media Art. In September and October 2002 the stipend recipients will be integrated further into the activities of the media art site. The artists are free to put on special events, conduct workshops or exhibit their work.
A grant provided by the Foundation of Lower Saxony has made is possible to award each of these artists (duos) a 10,000 Euro stipend for June to December 2002. The international competition was juried by five experts in New Media at the Edith Russ Site. The was jury led by its director, Rosanne Altstatt.
